Hi , I just got my first 3 months pcr result. It is .876% on international scale. What are my chances of progression and acheiving MMR in 12 months. I was told that there is a study by Dr crotes on relevance of more than 2 log reductions in 3 months on gleevec .....I am on 400 mg Gleevic

Thanks

Thomas

You appear to be a quick responder.  You are already CCyR, and getting close to MMR within only 3 months.  Overall chances of progression would seem slim.  There is the issue of needing to get through the 2 year point to know that there will be very little chance of kinase mutations, but they tend to appear sooner than later if they are going to occur.  Dr Cortes (MD Anderson) and others have expressed that quick responders appear to have little chance of disease progression or relapse.
