I'm embarrassed to say that I hadn't been visiting it regularly since Jerry's stroke and thought I would check it out this past weekend and was dismayed to see that it was no longer available. Worse, I have no idea how Jerry is! Does anyone have information to share? I really liked that site and always recommended it as well as this site for good information and support.

Never mind, sadly I just discovered that Jerry did not survive his stroke. I still don't know the date of his death but I will do more searching. Here is a link to a celebration of his life:

UPDATE: Jerry died on August 6, 2013. Here is a link to his obituary, in case, like me, you were hiding under a rock some where and did NOT hear about the very sad loss of this brave CML warrior.

Pat,

There are a couple of spin offs to Jerry's site:

http://www.cmlforums.com/forum/

http://www.newcmldrug.us/

The later claims to have all of his content stored from the prior site. Use at your own risk as they aren't sanctioned by any official provider like LLS.

Thanks for the info.  So sad to hear.  I haven't been to the website in awhile, but had wondered how he was doing.

We lost a great person and pioneer with Jerry's passing. I followed the website closely as there was a lot more sprycel users on there. He provided some great advice during some dark times that I was going through. He ran the site and with his passing his wife did not wish to continue it, pretty much through lack of expertise, which is understandable. Takes a lot to run a site. I can only wonder if the ariad drug that he was on contributed to his stroke. I know people were having quite a bit fo trouble with blood clots. Rest In peace brave warrior.
