Hi everyone!!

The CML community had a big win yesterday! The Ontario Public Drug Programs office changed a rule that said CML patients could only get funding for a third TKI drug if they developed adverse effects during the first three months. As many of you know, adverse effects can happen anytime. Which means if you are successfully on your second TKI and you develop a serious side effect, before yesterday in Ontario, you could not get funding for a third drug. Well all that has changed. Check out our Facebook page for the details....

Thank you so much to Diane McArthur, Brent Fraser and everyone in the Ministry's office for revising the guidelines! The CML community is thrilled and very grateful!!
