Compassionate drug access help for melanoma

Hi everyone,

I received an email from a work colleague - one of her friends is suffering from stage IV melanoma and is trying to gain access to a drug which in trials is getting good responses for people in this generally fatal stage of the disease.

He wasn't able to get into a trial based on an inclusion criterion so they have started a petition to see if BMS will provide the drug on compassionate grounds - if you would like to sign it the link is below.

I always wonder if these trials will one day yield another Gleevec.

Diagnosed 9 June 2011, Glivec 400mg June 2011-July 2017, Tasigna 600mg July 2017-present (switched due to intolerable side effects, and desire for future cessation attempt).

Commenced monthly testing when MR4.0 lost during 2012.
