Just got my PCR results and they look good.  Yea!!  But then in looking at the lab report, it sure looks like the blood sat around for 6 days before being tested.  So I called the lab and left a message.  It will be interesting to see if the lab tech, or doctor, or whatever, calls me back.  And if he does, it will be interesting to see whether or not they will be willing to re-test at no cost.  Geez. . I get so tired of this.

That stinks, Marnie! What really stinks is that you had to catch it and bring it to everyone's attention. If they have quality control measures in place for everything like making sure the elastic in our underwear is strong enough, you'd think they would definitely have them in place for something as serious as our health and wellbeing.

Hope you got some answers and that they are retesting for no cost. Not sure when school starts back for you, but I hope you have a great school year! My kiddos started back to school on August 1st, my husband (teaches high school math in a different district than our kids) starts back on the 16th with his kiddos starting on the 20th, and I (teach math for university as adjunct) start back August 26th.

Sadly it falls to us because no cares as much as we do.  Back in April I went in for appt and Dr told me "still pcru" while checking out I asked for copy of test, they gave me results from March.  I said "these are last months results I need this months.  They said there weren't any then dug around and handed me results for April which were not pcru.  I said I needed to see Dr again.  He came out and apologized said he hadn't seen them.  If I hadn't asked we wouldn't have increased my dosage.

Callmelucky - Not sure what lab you use but I go to Quest, since that is what my insurance covers.  They give you an option of also having the results sent to your own address so you dont have to depend on the doctor, you just fill out an extra form. Maybe your lab does also?
