Hello! I know Tasigna can prolong the QT interval as can other drugs. I have had EKG's and after being on Tasigna for 19 months now I have never had a problem. Should I be worried about taking other drugs that can cause QT prolongnation with Tasigna if my EKG's are normal? I ask because I take Lexapro and also have taken some Promethazine codeine cough syrup that interacts because of the QT thing. Any thoughts?

Laura.

There is not much information on the combined QT effects, and which drugs are worse than others, when it comes to QT prolongation.  But if it concerns you, try to space out the times you take the drugs.
