As if I wasn't fat enough now I have bloating. Does anyone else bloat on Tasigna? When I'm about to start my period I gain 20 lbs and lose it after but it seems I am ALWAYS bloated. My ankles will look like golf balls if I sit too long. My oncologist has given me Lasix but I only take it now and then when I am really miserable. I really hate bloating. I drink a ton of water and sometimes I barely pee!

Hi Laura,
Not sure about Tasigna, but Gleevec can give you fluid retention, I gain about three or four kilos until I get around to taking a fluid tablet.
It is worse for us women as we are more prone to it. You're noticing it as part of your menstral cycle. PMS/hormones can cause bloating for some of us and the Tasigna probably assists the issue. You may need to watch your salt intake as well, salt can be hidden in a lot of foods - takes the place of fat for flavour, so check the labels of foods.
Other than that the only thing that works for me is to take a fluid tablet.
