I should've used my $25 Amazon gift card on a couple of pair of lucky rocket ship underpants, rather than the bottle of Circumin that I ended up ordering. :). All good news, Lucky!

You could get 8 days out of a single pair of underpants if you'd only swallow your pride and wear them backward.  Just sayin'.

Dx: Sudden severe anemia detected 07/2011, followed by WBC spike. CML Dx 02/2012.

Rx: 03/2012-Gleevec400.  Reduced 02/2013 to Gleevec300 due to side effects (low blood counts).

Response: PCR-Und within 7 mo. on G400. Maintained MMR4-MMR4.5 on G300. PCR-Und since 02/2016.

If a guy can wear them backwards, then there is no rocketship.  Just sayin'

hey lucky and everyone. you are all in a world i dream about, my last test showed 12 per cent bcr abl in sample. at last visit my doc has arranged frr me t meet transplant team 'just in case'! i will resist this as long as i can - i assume the point to consider this drastic step would be if response is lost altogethrr? i am hoping to get the percentage down for my 9 month sample in a  few weeks. ive to get my 4th bmb in September at one year.

i am tired of being ill Lucky so i can empathise. i am working every day and have bone grinding tiredness as well as other symptoms. i am on 140mg per day sprycel and have to continue meantimr, on the advicd of professor Hollyoak who is our national expert in Scotland.

i need a break! i have changed to a paleo diet and am taking curcumin and matcha. i am doing all i can but feel like ive failed some sort of test by not meeting targets. Sorry for the moan - you are the only people who understand

Alex

Hi Alex:  Don't be sorry for the moan. We are all here for each other, as we all moan for something.  It does not have to be CML. Everyone has some additional problem they can complain about.  I could give you a list.

Hopefully some other plan goes into the works for you.  I went through all the preparations to get the BMT, as they thought it was my only choice.  I was determined to wait it out, and glad I did.  Have you been on any of the other TKI drugs.  I am sorry that I do not remember sometimes, no matter how many times I read the posts.  Maybe its time to swtich you to another TKI.

As far as meeting the targets that are set up where you should be at a certain point at a certain time, we are all different.  Maybe you need some more time,  Whatever you decide to do.  I wish you the best as you battle your disease.  Your attitude will get you far.

Susan

Hey Lucky,

OMG those britches are perfect!  Considering I just peed my pants laughing so hard, can you order 4 pair for me. With my sense of humor obviously thongs are not among my unmentionables!  Besides that rocket ship undies sound like a lot more fun. I shouldn't be reading this board right now, I get my stitches out on Tuesday, doc told me not to move my mouth to much so I won't scar. MEEE not move my mouth? When he said it my daughter and my husband cracked up, my loving daughter said, " she's scarred for life." Obviousily she's out of my will.  Lots of Luv Billie    Come Hell or highwater Lucky we're going to make it.
