I've written often of my rash while on Gleevec, Tasigna and now Sprycel. Well my dag Daisy has developed a hot spot and been scratching quite a bit. So off to the vet we go.

We are now both taking the same medications: Atarax and Prednisone.

That IS funny....sounds like the dog is having "sympathy" itching.....would be great to find out that your itching is not from your TKI. Best of luck to you on Sprycel and Daisy for the dog itch...

Maybe a couple of flea collars will do the trick!

Do you find yourself itching  your rash with your foot?  Or licking yourself......never mind that one (HB still can't get over that Moose/buffalo thingy that burned an inprint into her eyes.)

Hi WW,

I hope you and your doggie are doing better. I had a red doberman that had hot spots, vet put him on prednisone too. If I don't get any satisfaction from that onc I have to see in Pittsburg on the 22, Would you make an appt with your vet for me?  My old vet retired a long time ago.            Billie
