Hi,

Has anyone had any side effects from taking Norco while taking Sprycel?  I'm on Sprycel 100 mg and will have a Laparasopy done next week. And the doctor prescribes Norco for a painkiller after the surgery.  I think I shouldn't take acetaminophen while I'm on Sprycel, right?

I also want to update how I am doing on CML and the testings since I've started on Sprycel on 6/26/12.  My WBC went to within a normal range after 3 weeks of the meds and had an MMR on 12/5/12.  I've responded well to Sprycel and have minor side effects - headaches, sensitivity to the Sun, reflux, skin and acne issues, gray hair, etc. I feel much better emotionally  and don't think about CML much. I ask my onc. to reduce the dosage to 70 mg and he seems to agree with me.

I, however, have found I have ovarian cysts and need to do a Laparascopy so the doctor can see clearly what's going on.  Her nurse calls in to the pharmacy for a a narcotic painkiller, Norco. And I"m wondering if anyone taking Sprycel has any problem taking narcotic painkiller at the same time.  Should I ask my onc. to stop taking Sprycel temporarily? I doubt he would approve my request.

Again, thank you for all your support. I checked in once in a while and
