I thought it was great that this is gaining traction.  Very interesting to see that Novartis has stepped into the rink on this.  It makes me think there may be some real potential here.  A lot of experimental stuff never gets out of the lab and one off trials.  For Novartis to come in and start backing it gives the impression they believe there is a real product here.

That "Shake and Bake" part doesn't sound too good, but I think most of us would be willing to go through it if it meant a long term stable remission without having to take drugs.

Of course they did talk about having to take immune globulin shots to keep immune system active since the they also kill healthy B-cells.  Essentially you are damaging your immune system in the process.  Have to wonder what the long term consequences are.

Certainly for someone who has no other options this is the way to go.  But still have to wonder if it is better than TKI in long run.

Time will tell I guess.
