Does anyone have any weird issues with their esophagus?  I'm on Tasigna.  I have minor acid reflux pretty frequently.

A lot of times it feels like my esophagus is kind of contracting on its own, or stuck in the middle of contracting, or maybe like a burp bubble is stuck in there. This is when I'm not eating.

Sometimes when a bit of water or something hits the back of my throat, my esophagus/back of throat contracts prematurely (it seems) and I kind of sputter because I was not actually ready to swallow.

Anyway, just curious.  Kind of weird stuff.

I take a zantac almost every night.  Your acid reflux might be causing the issues with your throat.  Have you tried any antacids?

Please note that taking Zantac with Tasigna is a no-no: http://www.drugs.com...12475,1991-1283
