Hi All

FISH result was 100% negative BCR/ABL1 rearrangement while am taking 200 mg gleevec for almost 10 months. I was diagnosed on 8/2011 my WBC was 40 K. I started 400 mg gleevec on Oct 2011 and my WBC went to 1.7 K so my oncologist asked me to stop for 1 month. I resumed taking gleveec on Dec 2011 but with lower dosage (200 mg). Since then my WBC is fluctuating between 2.1 K and 3.1 K  but thank god I reached 100% negative on FISH test.

This for only sharing my case with you all. any comments I'll be happy

Sorry for my language am not a native speaker  language

Have a nice day

The lower dosage (200mg Gleevec) can work for some people.  CCyR in 12 months is a good response for a long drug break and only 200mg for most of that time.

Congratulations  That is a very good response you had.  Hope you continue to do well as you stay on the lower dose.
