I find it interesting that most of the things I have read about bosutinib come across as the drug is basically a failure that did not meet it's primary endpoint and offers little improvement over what is already out there. The big issue is that at a certain endpoint bosutinib did not have a higher percentage of patients in CCyR compared to imatinib. Almost everything I read glosses over the fact that it got people to CCyR faster, it got more people to MMR, less people had disease progression, and overall side effects seem to be much lower. I suppose time will tell the real story, but so far this drug sounds like a very nice addition to the arsenal.
