Hallo my friends,

I just received my 4th PCR Test Results and when my blood was drawn I was on the medicine for about 10,5 months, Tasigna 600mg.

I will include my previous tests results below:

At the time of the diagnosis I've had these numbers:

BCR/ABL t(9;22) fusion 20.443

BCR/ABL: ABL Ratio-0.695

Then my next two PCR tests were done at Quest Nichols Institute in CA
I think the following two tests are presented in ratios:
PCR Test at 3 months: 0.006
PCR Test at 5 months:0.006

My third PCR test was done at Miraca Life Science Lab
PCR Test results at 8 months are as follows:
     BCR/ABL Major----Detected
     BCR/ABL Minor-----Not Detected
    BCR/ABL1, Major(p210) Quant Ratio-0.00596
    BCR/ABL1 International Scale(Percent) -0.4865%
    BCR/ABL1 Maj Molecular Response achieved-No

My fourth and LAST PCR Test is:

BCR/ABL1, Major(p210) Quant Ratio-0.00215

Internationa Scale(Percent) -0.2157%

BCR/ABL1 Maj Molecular Response achived-NO

Trey, as always I would greatly appreciate your input.

Thanks so much Dina.

Dina,

I think that's really good for what, ca. 11 mo?  You are almost at a 3 log reduction, aren't you?

Very good response.  MMR would be .1%, so you are very close, and still declining.

Traci I was on the Tasigna excactly 10,5 months.

Trey,

Thanks for your respond. My last two PCR Tests were done at the same lab,

however my first two at another lab. This lab were they did my last two PCR's

don't know nor they have info about my previous tests. If all of my tests were done at the same lab

would I be in MMR already? Just wonder?

Thanks!

Dina, the lab answered that for you. You are at MMR, congratulations! Very few people become undetectible so don't be disapointed where you are now. It's very good!

MMR is usually the goal for within 18 months of treatment, you did it within 13 months so this is a good response Dina. It is considered an optimal response according to the current guidelines

Congratulations.
