My Tasigna induced sun photosensitivy  has pushed me to the end of my endurance. Yesterday I had a consult with a Johns Hopkins Dr. that does Phototherapy. Everyone agrees that it is drug induced photosensitivity caused by Tasigna.

First they test lights in different spectrums & then over time subject you to those lights to build up a tolerance. I have the testing portion next week. and then make several trips a week (three hours round trip) for the treatment. I asked if they have done anyone specifically with Tasigna and of course they haven't. Also, I contacted Dr. Druker for his input and generous man that he is, responded within a day and although he doesn't know of this treatment, suggested that it would be reasonable to try it.

If anyone is interested I'll make reports on my progress.

I have cancer but it doesn't have me
