I just get my latest PCR test result back and it is 0.23% IS.

My doctor said it is a very good response.  Here is my treatment history to share.

3/28 diagnosed, did not get PCR test result due to Lab failure

4/2  started Tasigna 600mg per day

4/6  first PCR result is 73.3% IS

5/2  second PCR result is 10.4% IS, Off Tasigna due to low platelet count

5/24  resumed half dose Tasigna

6/19  third PCR test result is 3.73% IS, resumed full dose Tasigna

8/7  fourth PCR test result is 0.23%

Not quite  MMR (0.1% IS) yet, but getting close.  My doctor now put me on a three month interval of office visit and PCR test.

I am happy about the result and have a shot of single malt to celebrate.

Thank you  all for your encouragements and blessings.

I remember that Teddy and Mariebow have very good progress also.  Wish you continue the path.

So far so good, and hopefully my number will continue to go down.  Based on the experiences of people on this board, I understand that unexpected turns could happen somewhere down the road.  And I hope that luck will continue to stay with me.

Some new research suggests that reaching a less than 10% pcr within the first 3 months is considered a very important goal for long term stability, since we have both reached that goal lets hope we maintain our good response. I guess nothing is certain, but at least i feel we are on the right path, lets keep it up!!

Teddy.
