Thanks!  Yes i'm still on 400 mg of Gleevec.  I have no side effects so I do not mind staying on the 400 mg's.  My Doc just retired so my next visit I will be meeting my new doctors and will get to hear what he has to say.

I am absolutely ecstatic over your journey ... Steve, you are da man.  Congratulations on such a successful treatment path.  You give me (and I'm sure many others) so much hope.  Thanks.   My kids will be 19, 17, and 15 when I reach your point.........I feel more confident about that future state after reading your post.  I really appreciate it, and am very happy for you!

I want to give my Congratulations to Stevea on 10 years, and you will have many more.  I am glad this posting encouraged you Dan as you think about the ages of your kids.  You will go beyond the 19 17 and 15 with all that is being done now for CML.  You have every right to feel confident.

I like Stevea have done very well on Gleevec.  God Willing it will be 14 years for me this December of surviving CML, but only been on Gleevec for 11 years.

I always say that something else will kill me before my CML will.  Just take each day as it comes, and enjoy your family.
