Creatine Kinase is elevated in some patients on TKI,s. as the result of muscle irritation/damage. This may help explain the muscle aches and pains some of us get. An interesting paper. Link- Frank http://www.ntkinstit...t_uids=22447483

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have elevated CK? Does elevated CK increase heart attack risk?

Hi! Trey and Scuba, haven't heard from you for a while.

Creatine Kinase does not cause such events.  Creatine Kinase is released during muscle injury, including heart muscle injury from heart attack.  It is not an initiating factor.
