and I was tickled to receive a bunch of daffodils and a darling Boyd bear at my visit today at the Cancer Center. Evidently, I haven't outgrown my need for stuffed toys! They will be given to cancer survivors by the Cerro Gordo Co. Medical Society and Alliance today through Friday.

I took the opportunity to purchase gifts of daffodils in vases that will be delivered anonymously to cancer patients that are in the hospital. I hope it cheers them as much as my unexpected gift cheered me! There's just something about daffodils!
