Ok so I'm fat so apparently they had a hard time with my biopsy. I am reading all the reports and it said they tried to use a needle but couldn't find anything so they went in with a #15 blade and then a Trocar. Why the blade? I did have two 1/4 in. incisions. Sigh.

This was done 11/14/11 and my hip is STILL sore. X-ray was normal but she missed the top of the Illiac crest which is where I assume they got the marrow from so I am going to ask them to re-do the X-ray. Shouldn't hurt this long. Unless it hurts just because I'm a big fatty. Sigh...

The "sweet spot" of the iliac crest is not as big as one might think, so it can be hard to find the right spot if there is excess adipose tissue.

This has the makings of a great new olympic event.  I wonder if I.m too late for 2012?

Hi Bees, That is really not cool that you are still hurting from last year - I wonder if it is because of the different tool that it still hurts? Are they doing the x-ray to look for why you are still in pain? Anyway, I hope it feels better soon. Pin xxx.
