Company is considering switching to Anthem BCBS and I was curious if anyone else has them and is on a TKI. Have you had any issues getting your medicine? It is scary to consider switching insurance companies.

In general it's not so much about the company as it is about the policy. You need to see the coverage that is being offered and understand the provisions. Usually this is more about decisions your employer makes than it is about Anthem BCBS.

Jenz. . .I just switched to Anthem BCBS. You need to look at the policy options carefully. From my choices, one plan has the person paying a % of the prescription drug costs (this would be bad), the other choice has a money amount per month. Read the policy very carefully before you sign on the dotted line. So far, the policy has been great for me. You also need to choose a participating physician or facility. You can go online to their website to find the participating physicians.
