Ok I was dx on 11/14/11. My counts are all good now, looks normal on the basic blood tests so I doubt I have an enlarged spleen. Especially since I never did have one (had an ultrasound in November) but I have this odd dull ache on the left side under my rib cage. I think it may be gas because when I press on it I feel like I need to pass gas. It has been there since last Saturday. Taking Gas x helps a little but not much. What the heck is going on? I guess I'll go BACK to the dr. on Monday but just wondering if maybe Tasigna causes trapped gas??

I do feel gassy a lot since being on Tasigna; I think it's related to the constipation issues.

That said, the spleen can take a while to settle.  Trey calls this the "pissed-off spleen syndrome", I believe.

I get "gas pockets" from Gleevec.  Dull ache in various parts of the abdomen.  These drugs are a bit tough on the tummy, so very conceivable.
