Hi Scuba. It is wonderful that you are having such a good result on such a low dose of med. I will be starting Sprycel shortly and will ask my new onc., who I will be seeing next week ,about Curcumin. Question- Does Curcumin have any effect on the blood vessels?

Judy,

Curcumin is a natural anti-inflammatory Cox-2 inhibitor (Aspirin is a Cox-2 inhibitor also).  It is reported to also impede blood vessel growth in solid tumors (http://neovitin.com/curcumin.aspx

Diagnosed 11 May 2011 (100% FiSH, 155% PCR)

with b2a2 BCR-ABL fusion transcript coding for the 210kDa BCR-ABL protein

Sprycel: 20 mg per day - taken at lights out with Quercetin and/or Magnesium Taurate

6-8 grams Curcumin C3 complex.

2015 PCR: < 0.01% (M.D. Anderson scale)

2016 PCR: < 0.01% (M.D. Anderson scale)

March        2017 PCR:     0.01% (M.D. Anderson scale)

June          2017 PCR:     "undetected"

September 2017 PCR:     "undetected"

Thanks Scuba, for all the info. It will be interesting to see what my new onc. has to say about it. Thanks again.

Scuba,

How much curcumin do you take per day?  It's the same as turmeric right?
