I have been on Tasigna since November 18, so about 3 weeks...I have NO side effects. Am I just lucky or are they going to start later? I am so scared of some of these side effects I read...

Hi Laura,
I've been taking Tasigna for almost three months now and so happy to say that I also don't have any major side effects YET,
the only and it has just started is a dry skin especially on my face, its very dry, also have a little hair loss but luckily I have a thick hair
so I don't see any big difference yet.
Don't be scared you will be FINE.

Hi Laura, I have been on tasigna since Feb. 1st 2010 & the only side effect I have had is fatigue. I feel blessed after reading so many people with many side effects, & I feel guilty about saying that on this board. I try to stay active but there is days when I have to lay on the couch all day long. It may be my age, just turned the BIG 60 last month, anyway, I hope you continue to have no side effect. Prayers to all, granny d

Two thoughts:
A) it's only been 3 wks, so time will tell
you probably just doomed yourself to a vicious bout of some side effect or other, given the perverse nature of cosmic justice. It's the same phenomenon that makes the fast lane on the highway slow down as soon as you get in it. ; )
Quick! Go knock on some wood!

Laura and Dina,
I am SO happy for you to be without side effects!!
I'm new here, and have just started meds days ago. In the last few months I've read this forum off and on and think everyone without side effects should post!! It was so scary to me not knowing what was coming, I know there is great need for folks to get help and support when having a tough time (any of us!!) but it was so helpful to me to also see some of the easier stories!!
Hope you both continue so well!!
