Loreta,

I sent an email response.  Summary: last PCR shows progress after a blip upward in August.  But you should still look at increased dosage back to 400mg if you can tolerate it, or maybe alternate 300mg/400mg every other day since progress so far is somewhat below average on the lower dosage.

Trey,

Thanks for your e-mail.  Went to appt.  the doctor says no change in meds (300mg G qd) and blood work in 6 weeks.  WBC holding at 3.0 and ANC 1.2  H&H is still 30/10.  No BCR-ABL for 3 months, till then just CBC and Chem profiles.

Enjoy the holidays.

Hi Loreta:

I have not been on here as much as I would like, and I do not remember why you were on the 300mg. dose of Gleevec, but I hope you can go back on the 400Mg dose.  I think it would make a big difference for you, or like Trey said alternate with the 300 and 400 mg.  Sometimes they have to make constant adjustments to get you on track.

Have a Great Holiday Also.

Susan
