Gerry, thank you for bringing that to my attention. About 3 weeks ago, I fell in the shower and hit my neck...that could explain why I'm having so much trouble getting the muscle to relax. Thanks again!

Absolutely, that's the main reason I eat it! I buy the brand that has the most insoluble fibre in it. Also, thanks Gerry, so many weird changes to keep track of - my latest one is pale skin...could be worse though, hey

Hi DeAnna,
One thing to remember not everything is related to CML or Gleevec, though a lot of things are. LOL
So if things don't seem quite right or go on for too long then it might be worthwhile to get it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Just make sure you slip, slop, slap.

Finding this thread has been very strengthening. These side effects were just starting to wear on me. I'm glad to see that what I'm experiencing is normal. It's also wonderful to "see" that there are people out there that have survived this for so long. Thank you.

Hi, Tarik,
How long have you been in treatment? This is a great forum for getting real world answers from those who have been there done that.

Wow my skin seems much paler....so this could also be a side effect of G.

It is the Gleevec, it does something to the pigmentation process of our skin, eventual thinning of skin is also another side effect apparently.

I started Gleevac in July 2011. I was diagnosed with CML June 28th.
