What did all my @PhilB thingys do? Did they cause emails? Since I have turned off all email notifications, your @Trey's didn't seem to do anything I can see. Not quite as good as my famous moose and buffalo stunt, but I'm still glad I could lure you out with this.

This "Add ______ as a Friend" thingy is a PITA. We will need to add everyone as Friends (not even BIFs), and new people will need to add everyone when they join. The only purpose is to allow internal emails, from what I see. @PITA

Not necessarily, Try "following" the Living With CML board and see what that does.
Still testing!

I'm getting emails same way I always did. If I respond to a thread, I start getting emails when others respond to that thread. If I don't do anything to it, I don't see activity. Trying to figure out exactly what "Follow" does. I think it adds the activity to my "News Feed" but doesn't send me emails. I have to click on send email notifications if I want emails for a thread I have not replied to.

I have to say I absolutely HATE this. It's appalling. Anyone want to suggest another site we should all move to?
The @PhilBs didn't do anything to me either, but friend requests did send weird emails telling me I had an 'action'. From my laptop I could at least still get back to the CML section. From this older computer I can't get anywhere near it.
Can they PLEASE put something on the home page that links to the individual communities again. And could someone please tell them that if we wanted to be on facebook we'd go to facebook. I suspect a huge percentage of anyone over a certain age is just going to give up.
Ridiculous

I tell a lie. You can get to the CML list - but only if you can find one of our messages in 'recent activity', open it and then select 'more discussions in...' at the top. Just about survivable for us. No chance at all for anyone on the less active communities. Someone really needs a slap.

You got it on that one RCT.
Dx'd: 8/2008. Started Gleevec 400 mg 11/08.
Drug break 2011.
Started Tasigna 4/11 450 mg.
Reduction to 300 mg Tasigna 1/2012.
PCRU 9/2012.
12/2012 Detectable.
PCRU 4/2013 through 3/2015. (Reduced to 150 mg 7/2014)
12/2015 ? slightly detectable at probably less than 0.01% per Mayo Clinic.
4/2016 PCRU. Still at 150 mg Tasigna.
CESSATION: stopped treatment 7/20/2017.
9/6/2017: barely detectable at 0.01%.
12/11/2017: PCR at 0.09% (did not do the monthly PCR testing.)
12/18/2017: Inevitable call from Onc. Started back on Tasigna at 150 mg. (Considering Sprycel low dose.)

Two quick ways I have found to get back to the Living With CML board.
In the upper right next to the Search line is an icon that looks like a clock - it is the history icon. If you have been in the CML section before, when you click on the clock, it should open a small window and under "Places", you should see the Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia board.
You can also type CML into the search bar and hit enter, the first messages that come up are going to be from the CML board location and you can click from their to get to the board.
You can also book mark in your browser http://community.lls.../livingwith/cml
and that will take you right to the CML board.
From Home page go to Discussion Boards, Living With, CML board
Lastly, if you "Follow" the CML board by clicking the "Follow" button in the upper right area. You can then click on "Browse" and go to "Places" and selected "Followed", which will give you a link to CML board.
Ok that is more than two ways!

I like this bookmark:
http://community.lls...ecttype[thread]
Puts you smack-dab into the CML-only location where the unread discussions are bolded. When I get sharted out by the extraneous L&LS buttons which seem to be there only to send me into a screaming coriolis spiral, I just use the bookmark to get back where I want to go.

Hi Trey,
Thanks for the bookmark - it was going to send me crazier than I probably already am trying to remember what I had read and what I hadn't.
Interesting how it tucks things in when you reply to people - makes a little bit more sense for people when they are chatting with each other. Though I 'm not sure whether you might also miss things as they slip up the page into an earlier section.

Imagine this Jive Genius trying to figure out if sending pictures of moose and plastic buffaloes has some deep meaning in the inter-personal relationships cooperative blah blah blah. It thinks it can figure out who should talk to whom and which people we want to socially interact with. Hah hah hah. That is such bovine sharts.
On another note, I figured out how to load pictures into the postings. The moose and plastic buffalo was my first choice, but here is my second choice:
PhilB's Pet Squirrel

Herodutus the squirrel is not just a pet. He has been carefully trained to lie motionless on my head, ever since my hair started receding, as a nearly undetectable toupee. The photo was taken during one of our training sessions. He is incredibly good at his job, apart from one lapse at a party when someone started handing round the peanuts.

Can I just say how wonderful it was to wake up and read these posts!!! This morning I think to myself, "I'll just get on one more time and spend a few minutes to see what's going on". I'm having some difficulty learning the new site. Yes, I was wanting a like button, sometimes I just like what someone says, don't really want to comment just want to "like". Couldn't we just have added that option??? I guess my project for the weekend will be to learn the new site, ugh. I'm ever so glad I chose this discussion to read as it had me laughing out loud, or lol...what a great way to start my day! So glad to see you back Phil, though I rarely comment, I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts and comments esp between you and Trey.
Thanks all for a great start to my day!
Audrey

Hey Gerry, you can fix that tuck in problem by going to the triangle in the top right corner --> preferences --> discussion view style --> then select 'flat'. I don't like it if I miss stuff so I find the threaded view annoying!
Diagnosed 9 June 2011, Glivec 400mg June 2011-July 2017, Tasigna 600mg July 2017-present (switched due to intolerable side effects, and desire for future cessation attempt).
Commenced monthly testing when MR4.0 lost during 2012.
2017: <0.01, <0.01, 0.005 (200mg Glivec, Adelaide) <0.01, 0.001 (new test sensitivity)
2016: <0.01, <0.01, PCRU, 0.002 (Adelaide)
2015: <0.01, <0.01, <0.01, 0.013
2014: PCRU, <0.01, <0.01, <0.01, <0.01
2013: 0.01, 0.014, 0.016, 0.026, 0.041, <0.01, <0.01
2012: <0.01, <0.01, 0.013, 0.032, 0.021
2011: 38.00, 12.00, 0.14

Actually, I think I know what you mean by "My Stuff". Click on your user name in the upper right corner. The first tab is you bio, the other tabs are your "stuff".
