Damn, as of last month I hit the 'late 40's.  Think we could rework that scale?

Hi there!  I'm 37...from Delaware and was dx october 2010.  Similar story as most on here...routine labwork.  No real symptoms except tired - but mom of 2 young boys, work, school, and then hubby on 2nd shift during the week...I figured I was supposed to be tired!  Doing well on tasigna!

Great group of friends we have here! .

Hi Rita, I'm Josie, from Melbourne Australia, I'm 38 we got married between dx and starting 600mg G in Feb this year. It's going well...both the marriage and treatment :-)

Dx was from a series of 3 blood tests, six weeks apart showing very slightly elevated WBC (all < 20) and then another 3 weeks for BMB and general time wasting. The first blood test was for iron levels. I was a bit tired in the months before dx and had heaps of low level infections but otherwise well. I was a pretty serious runner then and working my way back to being a moderate runner - it has taken time but I'm almost at 70% of my pre CML mileage and the intensity is probably 50-70%. The only unusual thing (I hope) about my journey is that we are thinking to stop treatment and try for a pregnancy. As you can see I'm not young so the timing is going to be a bit tricky.

Dx Dec 2010 @37

2x IVF egg collection

Glivec 600 & 800mg

PCRU March 2012

Unsuccessful pregnancy attempt - relapsed, 3 months interferon (intron A), bad side effects from interferon

Nilotinib 600mg Oct 2012

PCRU April 2013, 2 years MR4.5 mostly PCRU with a few blips

April 2015 stopped again for pregnancy attempt (donor egg), pregnant first transfer, 0.110 at 10wks, 2.1 at 14wks, 4.2 at 16wks, started interferon, slow dose increase to 25MIU per wk, at full dose PCR< 1 for remainder of pregnancy

Healthy baby girl Jan 2016, breastfed one month

Nilotinib 600mg Feb 2016

MMR May 2016

PCRU Feb 2017

Hi, I'm Shara, I am 39 7/8ths I turn 40 in December. I live in Sunny Southern California. I was diagnosed December 26, 2007. I have had Complete Molecular Response since September 2008. I was put on Gleevec 400mg for the first 3 and half years and then reduced to 300mg. This was night and day for me. Similar symptoms as everyone else fatigue, diarrhea, swollen eyes, muscle spasms, muscle pain and one weird side effect of a plurall infusion which is not that common. They drained 2 liters off my lungs and I felt much better. I like the rest of you dream of the days of no medication and side effects.
