Ok, after less than a week on the Hydrea and the Sprycel, my platelets are now 1, 200,000. In less than a week they have dropped over 600,000. I did find out today I can only take the two meds together for 2 weeks, so hopefully the higher dose of Sprycel beginning today will kick in so the Hydrea can be reduced and discontinued.
Today it doesn't matter, what is important is I am finally showing progress with the platelets, the sun is shining (if you look hard enough through the clouds) and I am responding to the meds. Today, is a good day.
