Thanks - I actually said last night "I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow", then I thought about it for a few minutes and thought about all the possible reasons that would keep me from going to work and I thought, perhaps I should be careful what I wish for

Dear Lucky,

If I were you I'd buy a pg test just to be sure. Lord only knows the loooong term effects of these drugs. Who would have thought blood pressure meds would cause men's hair to grow back. My pcp told me the other day that viagra is a blood pressure medicine. Still having trouble getting the old bp down so she was talking about different meds to try when she said viagra I cracked up I told her I just had my annual ride in an ambulance a little while ago when I had that allergic reaction to those iron infusions I was getting, My hands and feet blew up I told her I see those commercials what do women have that can blow up for four hours? Do they go to the spare parts for people bank and give them a pecker? She almost peed her pants.

I'm glad you're feeling better this cml sucks. We can't help but to let our minds wander every time something out of the ordinary shows up. Last year I got a lump under my arm I told myself, self you had your annual mammogram just a few months ago the results came back normal. So put it out of your mind. Self didn't listen to self and I didn't keep my big mouth shut so at my next onc visit I told him about the lump he said I had to get another mammogram sh**! So I had to get a mammogram in my armpit. It took 3 radiologists to get the machine in the right place. That hurt so bad they take the picture and tell me not to move they had to make sure the x-ray turned out. I couldn't move my whole armpit was smashed in this machine.

I have been getting chest pains for years in my case it's either nerves or gas. I get a full cardio work-up every year because of my vascular problems,so I just keep reminding myself of that  and they go away. But don't ignore anything if it gets annoying get checked out but you just went through a stressful time so that can get you worked up.

      Sincerely Billie

What Great Thinking you had about if you should go to work or not.  ITs funny how a lot of this think like this now, but would have never had these thoughts before CML.  You really do become a new person, and look at life so differently.  Glad your bug is working its way out of your system.

Hi Susan,

Yes I've experienced that already, we are in the same boat and it's

just great to see how we support each other.

Yeah I've been dx 6 weeks ago and still pretty new in this long journey of ours.

Hi Dina:  Just know that you can do it.  I can still remember back to when I was only at 6 weeks, and on Dec. 12th of this year it will be 13 years for me.

I hope that helps you to keep your positive attitude.  I am on Gleevec since 2000, but I am always around if I can help in any way.  We have so many who are on Tasigna or Sprycel in addition to the Gleevec.

Susan

I thought PhilB was the rear part of the moose he should be able to boogie on down those mountains. Lucky in tights? I'd give him my house to see that.
